WORKING WITH SYRIA'S MOST VULNERABLE REFUGEES IN LEBANON

People talk to me about issues such as the refugee crisis in Lebanon - or in other parts of the world - and they talk about it like “what can we do? How can we help?” as if it’s a complex problem. And actually what I’ve realised is, time and time again, it’s incredibly simple. For someone like Khawla - and the other families we support - she needed two things. She needed security and she needed education. And we’ve been providing that to her for the last six years.

If you watched The One Armed Chef: Syrians & Lebanese Finding Hope Through a Shared Meal and would like to support the families featured in the film you can donate to our ongoing work in Lebanon.

Our program is managed and run with local expertise, and makes sure that some of the most vulnerable Syrian refugees are provided with housing and access to education. We have been running the project for six years and in that time have seen how your support enables families to live in safety, watched as their children have graduated from school and seen a new generation grow with hope of a better future.

We need your help to ensure young people like Khawla can achieve their goals and develop skills that will help their communities rebuild in the future.
