Legacy of War Foundation is committed to widening the discourse about the impact of war on civilians and its long-term consequences

Our No More War campaign asks us all as taxpayers that fund these conflicts, as concerned citizens of a global community, and in solidarity with those directly impacted by war, we feel - whether pragmatist or humanist in argument - to  say "No More War".

Since 2017, we have been advocating for the rights of people affected by war, and for those living with disability caused by conflict.

In 2019, Giles Duley was the opening speaker at the 22nd NDM-UN meeting of Mine Action Directors & UN Advisors in Geneva.

In 2022, Giles was appointed as the first United Nations first Global Advocate for Persons with Disabilities in Conflict and Peacebuilding Situations. This role has seen him speaking at the UN and several International Conferences.

In 2024, Giles spoke at the Ukraine Mine Action Conference in Switzerland UMAC - you can watch that address here.

There is no point in saving a life if that person cannot access the tools to get their life back.
— Giles Duley, NDM-UN 22

In April 2022, Giles Duley addressed UNMAS in NYC. We also exhibited artwork by Duley, as well as murals from our No More War campaign, in UN Headquarters on the theme ‘Safer Homes’.
