We believe that sharing stories is the best way to communicate our mission and values to people of all ages

Our CEO and founder Giles Duley speaks regularly to children and young people around the world on a range of topics, from Legacy of War Foundation’s work and his own experiences living with disability, to photojournalism, the impact of conflict, and ethical storytelling.

We are also committed to supporting decolonisation within education. Giles is happy to discuss our own decolonisation efforts within the aid sector with college or university groups.

Post-COVID, we are looking forward to restarting our sessions in schools, colleges and universities to highlight the devastating impact of war, and will reach 1500 young people a year across our educational programs by 2025.

Our Hastings Grows project will also offer opportunities for educators and schools from around the South East to visit and learn.

If you’d like to visit Hastings Grows, or have Giles Duley visit your place of learning to talk about conflict, disability, decolonisation or ethical storytelling, please get in touch.

With thanks to our partner.
