Massive Attack Collaboration

Throughout 2018 Legacy of War is honoured to have built further on our relationship with Massive Attack.

Our founder and CEO, Giles Duley, has worked with Massive Attack in the past, using his photographs to create visuals for the band’s live shows.

This year that collaboration went a step further with the production of a free newspaper that was given away during Massive Attack concerts.

In the following pages you will hear stories of civilians — everyday people — whose lives have been destroyed by war. But you will also hear stories of resilience, strength, and community rebuilding. As an organisation this last point is particularly central to what we aim to do: we aim to stand in solidarity with those rebuilding their lives, listen to how they want us to help, and help facilitate that process.

We are also excited to announce unique jewellery pieces that have been designed in partnership between Rob del Naja of Massive Attack, Article 22 and Legacy of War Foundation.

Made from repurposed bomb fragments and incorporating the iconic Massive Attack flame, the funds raised from these unique designs go to clearing landmines and UXO in Laos and further Legacy of War projects.

Together making a difference.
